What is the best way to get to the shop from the cruise port?
We do not currently offer any pickup or drop off services, however we are conveniently located on West Bay Road (between the Kimpton Seafire Resort and the Westin hotel). You will find us nestled in the beautiful new complex called The Grove. You can reach us by taxi, public bus, or shuttle (the cruise shuttle from the port to Public Beach will drop you off a short 5 min walk from our shop. If you're joining us for a tour and suspect you may be late, please reach out ASAP. We may or may not have the flexibility in our schedule to accommodate your party.
Does a tour run rain or shine?
A light shower is often welcome on our small tropical island, however heavy rain, lightning, high windspeeds, or extreme weather conditions may result in the postponement or cancellation of a tour.
When am I able to pick up and drop off rental equipment?
Rentals are available during our retail operational hours. Tuesday- Saturday from 10 AM- 6 PM
Is there storage on the bikes?
Each bike is equipped with a water bottle holder, which fits a 20oz bottle. Any larger items (backpacks, purses, luggage, etc.) can be kept in our shop during your time on the bikes. For rentals, an additional storage bag may be available upon request.
Can I rent on Sunday and/or Monday when the shop is closed?
Multi-day rental pick-ups and drop-offs may or may not be available outside of our normal business hours including Sunday and Monday. Please reach out to our team to see if we may be available. (hello@paddlewheel.ky).
What is your cancellation policy?
24 hours prior to reservation- full refund.
Cancellations within 24 hours will not receive a refund.
What is your age/ height/ weight requirements?
Each e-bike rider must be over 12 years of age, above 4’10” in height, and able to safely handle and operate a motorized bike weighing up to 60lbs.
Pedal bike rental requirements:
Each rider must be at least 5’0” in height.
